DESCRIPTION
Reverse Osmosis is a water purification technique in which fluid flow is by osmosis across a 4040 RO membrane. Reverse osmosis involves solvent diffusion across a membrane that is either nonporous or uses nanofiltration with pores 0.001 micrometers in size. Typically water molecules are forced through semi-permeable membranes to remove impurities and contaminants, chemicals, and even microbes.
